Chicken Wings
Wing Sauce
Method
Frying Chicken Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This will help achieve a crispy texture.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss the chicken wings in the seasoned flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test if the oil is ready by dropping a small amount of flour into it; if it sizzles, it's ready.
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry the wings for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Preparing the Wing Sauce
- 5
Melt the Ingredients
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- 6
Tossing the Wings
- 7
Toss Wings in Sauce
In a large bowl, add the fried chicken wings and pour the prepared wing sauce over them. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated in the sauce.
- 8
Serve
Serve the wings hot and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces or sides.
