Method

Preparation of Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Coat the Fish

Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

Cabbage Slaw

  1. 3

    Prepare the Slaw

In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss until evenly mixed.

Cooking and Assembling Tacos

  1. 4

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated fish fillets for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky.

  2. 5

    Warm the Tortillas

While the fish is grilling, warm the corn tortillas on a separate grill or in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

  3. 6

    Assemble the Tacos

Once the fish is cooked, flake it into pieces. Place a portion of the flaked fish onto each tortilla, top with cabbage slaw, and add slices of avocado.

  4. 7

    Serve

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos before eating.
