Preparing the Burger Patties

Form the Patties
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the meat into two equal portions and form into loose balls. Do not overwork the meat.

Flip and Add Cheese
Flip the patties and top each with two slices of white cheddar cheese. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.

Prepare the Buns
Toast the burger buns lightly on the skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.

Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each bun, place a layer of lettuce, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese, the crispy bacon, and a generous drizzle of bourbon BBQ sauce.

Add the Finishing Touches
Top with the fried onion ring, slices of tomato, and pickles. Place the top half of the bun on the burger.
