Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper. Add the hanger steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the steak is resting, slice the ciabatta buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each toasted ciabatta bun, layer sliced steak, crispy cheese curds, heirloom tomato slices, and arugula. Top with ramp leaf salsa and close the sandwich with the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately.
