Shrimp and Cocktail Sauce

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the Old Bay seasoning and the juice of half the lemon. Once boiling, add the jumbo shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.

2

Ice Bath

Immediately transfer the cooked shrimp to an ice bath (a bowl filled with ice and water) to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for a few minutes.

3

Serve

Drain the shrimp from the ice bath and arrange them on a serving platter. Serve with cocktail sauce and garnish with lemon wedges and chopped parsley.
