Butter Board Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sourdough

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the sourdough miche into thick slices. Place the slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until warm and slightly crispy.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Butter

In a small bowl, take the cultured butter and let it soften at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Once softened, mix it with sea salt and any fresh herbs you desire.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Board

On a large serving board or platter, spread the herbed butter evenly. Arrange the warm slices of sourdough around the butter.

  4. 4

    Add Toppings

Drizzle honey over the butter, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes, and add nuts. Garnish with additional fresh herbs as desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the butter board warm, allowing guests to spread the butter onto the sourdough slices and enjoy.
