Mini Vikings

Deep Fried Pickle Spears

Stadium Crispy Green Beans

Method

Mini Vikings Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. 2

    Form Mini Vikings

Shape the mixture into small oval patties, about 1.5 inches in length. You should have around 2 mini Vikings.

  3. 3

    Cook

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the mini Vikings to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Deep Fried Pickle Spears Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Pickles

Pat the dill pickle spears dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

  2. 5

    Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with a beaten egg, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt.

  3. 6

    Coat Pickles

Dip each pickle spear into the flour, then the egg, and finally coat them thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.

  4. 7

    Fry Pickles

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the breaded pickle spears in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Stadium Crispy Green Beans Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare Green Beans

Wash and trim the ends of the fresh green beans.

  2. 9

    Breading Station

Set up a breading station similar to the one used for the pickles: flour, beaten egg, and a mix of cornmeal and salt.

  3. 10

    Coat Green Beans

Dip each green bean in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat them with the cornmeal mixture.

  4. 11

    Fry Green Beans

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the breaded green beans in batches for 3-4 minutes or until crispy and golden. Drain on paper towels.
