Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Marinate Chicken
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
- 2
Prepare the Coating
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Coat the Chicken
Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating. Shake off excess flour.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place coated chicken in the hot oil. Fry for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 6
Make the Aioli
In a small bowl, mix together honey and sriracha to create the honey sriracha aioli.
