Chicken Livers or Gizzards
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Rinse the chicken livers or gizzards under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Flour
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well.
- 3
Coat the Chicken
Dredge the chicken livers or gizzards in the seasoned flour until fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the coated chicken livers or gizzards to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the chicken livers or gizzards from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
