Prepare the Nut Mixture
In a bowl, combine chopped walnuts, chopped pistachios, and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

Prepare the Phyllo Dough
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, lay one sheet of phyllo dough and brush with melted butter. Repeat for about 10 sheets.

Layer the Filling
Sprinkle a layer of the nut mixture over the phyllo dough. Add 5 more sheets of phyllo dough, brushing each with butter. Repeat this process until all the nut mixture is used, finishing with about 10 layers of phyllo dough on top.

Cut and Bake
Using a sharp knife, cut the baklava into diamond or square shapes. Bake in preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.

Combine and Serve
Once the baklava is baked, pour the hot syrup over it. Allow it to cool completely before serving. Enjoy your delicious baklava!
