Homemade Ranch Sauce

Method

Preparing the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for even cooking.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.

Frying the Chicken

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 5

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the breaded chicken to the skillet and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast to melt.

Preparing the Bacon

  1. 7

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Making the Ranch Sauce

  1. 8

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 9

    Toast Buns

Lightly toast the brioche buns on a skillet or in a toaster.

  2. 10

    Build the Sandwich

Spread ranch sauce on both halves of the toasted buns. Place the fried chicken on the bottom half, then top with crispy bacon. Cover with the top half of the bun.
