Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, remove the tea bags and discard them.
Flavoring the Tea

While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 cup of sugar until it is fully dissolved.

Stir in 1 cup of lemon juice to the sweetened tea.

Add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves to the mixture and gently stir. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
Chilling and Serving

Once the tea has cooled to room temperature, transfer it to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour.

In a tall glass, add 1 cup of ice cubes and a slice of lemon.
