Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Bistro Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Make the Bistro Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the French fries according to package instructions, either baking or frying until golden and crispy.

  2. 7

    Season the Fries

Once cooked, season the fries with salt to taste.

Burger Assembly

  1. 8

    Toast the Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

  2. 9

    Add Bistro Sauce

Spread a generous amount of bistro sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

  3. 10

    Layer the Patties

Place one cheeseburger patty on each bun, followed by the second patty.

  4. 11

    Add Toppings

Top the patties with lettuce, tomato slices, red onion rings, and butter pickles.

  5. 12

    Assemble the Burger

Cap with the top half of the bun.
