In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

Prepare the French fries according to package instructions, either baking or frying until golden and crispy.
