Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Prepare Bananas
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. You should have about 1.5 cups of mashed banana.

Mix Wet Ingredients
Add the melted unsalted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well. Then, add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until well combined.

Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
