Method
Fruit Puree & Add-ins
- 1
Prepare fruit
Hull the strawberries and roughly chop. Pit and roughly chop half a ripe peach. Place strawberries and peach pieces in a small blender or jar suitable for an immersion blender.
- 2
Add the lemon juice and simple syrup (if using) to the fruit. Blend until smooth but still slightly textured (about 10–15 seconds). You should have roughly 2–3 tablespoons of puree. Taste and adjust sweetness with up to 1 more teaspoon simple syrup if needed.
Assemble Drink
- 3
Fill a tall glass with the ice cubes (about 1 cup). Pour the chilled Alani (8 oz) evenly over the ice.
- 4
Gently spoon the fruit puree over the back of a spoon onto the drink so it sinks slightly and creates a layered sunrise effect (about 2–3 tablespoons).
- 5
Slowly top with 4 oz chilled sparkling water. Pour gently to preserve the layered look and the bubbles.
Finish & Garnish
- 6
Finish with a gentle splash (1 tablespoon) of oat milk poured over the top — this will create a soft milky swirl and mellow the drink's edges.
- 7
Garnish with a strawberry slice and peach slice on the rim and a mint sprig if using. Serve immediately with a straw and a long stirrer so the drink can be mixed before drinking if desired.
