Ribs and Glaze
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Make the Dry Rub
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- 3
Season the Ribs
Rub the dry rub mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
- 4
Prepare the Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine apple cider vinegar, honey, and BBQ sauce. Heat over medium heat until warm and well combined.
- 5
Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.
- 6
Glaze the Ribs
During the last 30 minutes of baking, baste the ribs with the prepared glaze every 10 minutes.
- 7
Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Slice between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
