Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broccoli Rabe

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli rabe and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green. Remove and plunge into ice water. Drain and chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pasta

In the same pot, cook the conchiglie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Pork Sugo

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute. Add pork sausage, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Stir in the chopped broccoli rabe and cooked conchiglie into the skillet with the pork sugo. Mix well to combine.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, add half of the pasta mixture. Layer half of the smoked mozzarella and provolone cheeses over it. Add the remaining pasta and top with the remaining cheeses and Parmesan.

  6. 6

    Bake

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  7. 7

    Serve

Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy your Baked Conchiglie!
