Prepare the Avocado Spread
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth.

Stir in the lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well to combine. Adjust seasoning to taste.

While preparing the spread, toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
