Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic cloves, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Prep the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are hot and covered with white ash.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill grates. Grill for about 4-6 minutes on the first side.

  3. 5

    Flip the Salmon

Carefully flip the salmon using a spatula and grill for another 4-6 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.

  4. 6

    Rest and Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and additional fresh herbs if desired.
