Coffee Base

Iced Coffee Preparation

Method

Coffee Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Coffee

In a large pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.

  2. 2

    Steep the Coffee

Cover the pitcher and let the coffee steep at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours, depending on how strong you want your coffee.

  3. 3

    Strain the Coffee

After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into another pitcher to remove the coffee grounds.

Iced Coffee Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Glass

Fill a tall glass with 2 cups of ice cubes.

  2. 5

    Pour the Coffee

Pour the cold brewed coffee over the ice until the glass is nearly full, leaving some space for cream and sugar.

  3. 6

    Add Cream and Sugar

Add 1/4 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the coffee. Stir well to combine.

  4. 7

    Serve and Enjoy

Taste the iced coffee and adjust the sugar or cream to your liking. Serve immediately.
