Method

Jumbo Soft Pretzel

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Add flour, salt, and sugar to the mixture, and knead until smooth.

  2. 2

    Shape and Boil

Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope and shape it into a pretzel. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add baking soda. Boil each pretzel for 30 seconds, then transfer to a baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Brush each pretzel with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Fried Pickles

  1. 4

    Prepare the Breading

In a bowl, combine flour and cornmeal. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.

  2. 5

    Coat and Fry

Dip pickle slices in the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet and fry the pickles until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Tater Tots

  1. 6

    Cook Tater Tots

Follow the package instructions to bake or fry the frozen tater tots until crispy and golden brown.

Cheese Balls

  1. 7

    Prepare Cheese Mixture

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and green onions until well combined.

  2. 8

    Form and Fry

Shape the cheese mixture into small balls. Beat the egg in a bowl and dip each cheese ball into the egg, then roll in bread crumbs. Heat oil in a deep skillet and fry the cheese balls until golden, about 3-5 minutes.

Chips and Queso

  1. 9

    Prepare Queso

In a saucepan, combine Velveeta cheese, diced tomatoes, and milk. Cook over medium heat until melted and smooth, stirring frequently.

  2. 10

    Serve

Serve the queso warm with tortilla chips on the side.

Ranch Dressing

  1. 11

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic powder, dill, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.

  2. 12

    Chill

Refrigerate the ranch dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Rooftop Sauce

  1. 13

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, garlic powder, and honey until well combined.

  2. 14

    Serve

Serve the Rooftop sauce as a dipping sauce for the pretzels and fried pickles.
