Burger Patty Preparation

    Prepare the Patty

    In a mixing bowl, combine the Angus beef with salt and black pepper.

    Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾ inch thick.

    Cook the Patty

    Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until they reach your desired doneness.

    In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
