Method
Preparing the Pizza Base
- 1
Prepare the Dough
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- 2
Add Olive Oil and Cornmeal
Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush the surface lightly with olive oil and sprinkle cornmeal on the bottom to prevent sticking.
Cooking the Chicken and Rice
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Grill over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- 4
Prepare the Spanish Rice
If you haven’t prepared the Spanish rice, cook it according to package instructions. Fluff it with a fork after cooking.
Assembling the Pizza
- 5
Layer the Ingredients
Spread the creamy queso sauce evenly over the pizza base. Add the cooked Spanish rice on top, followed by the sliced grilled chicken.
- 6
Add Cheese
Finally, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pizza.
Baking the Pizza
- 7
Bake
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- 8
Cool and Serve
Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
