Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any damaged leaves, and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
- 3
Add Ingredients
Add the sliced grilled chicken on top of the chopped romaine in the salad bowl. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and croutons over the salad.
- 4
Dress the Salad
Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad. Start with half a cup and add more to taste. Toss the salad gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
- 5
Serve
Serve the Caesar salad immediately on plates or in bowls. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
