Chicken Preparation

Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Fry the Chicken
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and set on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Buffalo Sauce

Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well and simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Coat the Chicken
Once the chicken is cooked, dip each piece into the buffalo sauce or brush sauce over the chicken for an even coating.

Prepare the Toppings
Chop the romaine lettuce, slice the tomato, and thinly slice the red onion.

Assemble the Dish
On a plate, place a layer of romaine lettuce, top with a buffalo chicken breast, add slices of tomato and red onion, and finish with a drizzle of ranch dressing.
