Burger Assembly

Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently without overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, approximately 3/4 inch thick.

Cooking the Burgers

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Heat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Ensure it is hot before placing the patties.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the beef patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium-well.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

If desired, toast the artisan buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese. Add pickles on top and drizzle with slider sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
