Burger Preparation

Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently without overworking the meat.

Form the Patties
Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, approximately 3/4 inch thick.

Add Cheese
After flipping, place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium-well.
Assembling the Burger

Toast the Buns
If desired, toast the artisan buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese. Add pickles on top and drizzle with slider sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
