Method

Cooking the Eggs and Meat

  1. 1

    Cook the Meat

In a skillet over medium heat, place the bacon or sausage. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until crispy and fully cooked. Remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, crack the eggs into the pan. Cook them to your desired doneness: sunny-side up, over-easy, scrambled, or poached. This should take about 3-4 minutes for sunny-side up or over-easy.

Preparing the Toast

  1. 3

    Toast the Bread

While the eggs are cooking, toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown. Optionally, you can butter the toast once it's done.

Preparing the Side

  1. 4

    Choose and Prepare Your Side

For hash browns: cook them in the skillet until crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. For fresh fruit, wash and cut into bite-sized pieces. For avocado, slice in half, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh, and slice.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Meal

On a plate, arrange the cooked eggs, bacon or sausage, and toast. Add your chosen side next to the main items. Serve immediately while hot.
