Method
Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Cook Pasta
Add 8 oz of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
Cooking Shrimp

Heat Olive Oil
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

Add Garlic and Red Pepper Flakes
Once the oil is hot, add 3 minced garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Cook Shrimp
Add 1 lb of peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Making Creamy Sauce

Add Heavy Cream
Once the shrimp are cooked, reduce the heat to low and pour in 1 cup of heavy cream. Stir to combine.

Add Parmesan Cheese
Gradually add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese while stirring continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.

Season the Sauce
Add 0.5 teaspoon of salt and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper to the sauce. Stir to combine.
