Method

Fried Rice

1

Prepare the Vegetables

In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper, and sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

2

Add Garlic and Seasoning

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then, add 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning and stir well to combine.

3

Incorporate Rice

Add the cooked white rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps. Pour in the soy sauce and mix thoroughly to ensure the rice is evenly coated. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4

Finish with Green Onions

Stir in the sliced green onions and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Grilled Steak

5

Prepare the Steak

Rub the sirloin steak with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then season generously with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

6

Grill the Steak

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time based on desired doneness).

7

Rest and Slice

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
