Method

Grilled Pork

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork

In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Add the pork loin chops and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from grill and let rest.

Rice

  1. 3

    Cook the Rice

In a saucepan, combine long-grain rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.

Salad

  1. 4

    Prepare the Salad

Wash the mixed salad greens, and slice the tomato and cucumber. In a bowl, combine the greens, tomato, and cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, and sprinkle with salt to taste. Toss gently to combine.

Fried Egg

  1. 5

    Fry the Egg

In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Crack the egg into the skillet and season with salt. Cook until the white is set and the yolk is cooked to your preference, about 2-3 minutes.
