Cooking Pasta
- 1
Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tsp of salt and pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- 2
Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water.
Preparing Chicken and Sauce
- 3
Cook Chicken
In a large skillet, heat 2 tbs of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.

Make the Creamy Sauce
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the heavy cream to the skillet, stirring continuously. Allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes until the cream thickens slightly.
- 6
Add Cheese and Combine
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until fully melted and combined. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached. Season with black pepper.
Combining Ingredients

Mix Pasta with Sauce
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy mushroom sauce. Toss well to combine, ensuring that the pasta is evenly coated.

Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
