1. Mix the Base Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of High West Double Rye and 3 tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
2. Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
3. Strain the Cocktail
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
Wine Layering
4. Add the Lambrusco
Carefully pour 1 oz of Ceci Otello Lambrusco over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect on top of the cocktail.
Garnishing
5. Garnish the Drink
Garnish with a lemon wheel and a maraschino cherry on top.
