Seafood

Citrus Marinade

Vegetables and Seasoning

Method

Preparation of Seafood

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

In a large bowl, combine the cooked lobster meat, shrimp, and octopus. Make sure all seafood is cut into small, bite-sized pieces for even marination.

Citrus Marinade

  1. 2

    Mix Citrus Juices

In a separate bowl, mix together the fresh lime juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. This citrus blend will act as the marinade for your seafood.

  2. 3

    Marinate Seafood

Pour the citrus marinade over the seafood mixture. Stir gently to ensure that all pieces are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the seafood to 'cook' in the citrus juices.

Adding Vegetables and Seasoning

  1. 4

    Prepare Vegetables

While the seafood is marinating, finely chop the red onion, dice the tomato, and cucumber. Set aside.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

After the marination time, add the chopped vegetables (red onion, tomato, cucumber), chopped cilantro, and finely chopped jalapeño to the marinated seafood. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 6

    Final Mixing

Gently toss all ingredients together until combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Ceviche Mixto

Serve the ceviche immediately in chilled bowls or cups. Garnish with extra cilantro if desired. Enjoy your fresh and zesty Ceviche Mixto!
