Method
Eggs
Prepare the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your desired doneness (sunny side up, over easy, scrambled, etc.). Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes.
Homestyle Breakfast Potatoes
Cook the Potatoes
Dice the potatoes into small cubes. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Stir in the cubed potatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and crispy.
Focaccia
Make the Focaccia
In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, then shape it into a baking dish. Let it rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Protein Choice
Cook the Bacon or Sausage
