Directions
- 1
Prepare the Clams
Rinse the little neck clams under cold water to remove any sand and grit. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.
- 2
Sauté Garlic
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- 3
Add Wine and Clams
Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the prepared clams to the pot and cover with a lid.
- 4
Steam the Clams
Let the clams steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until they have all opened. Discard any clams that remain closed.
- 5
Finish the Dish
Stir in chopped fresh parsley, the juice of one lemon, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
