Method

Prepare Salad Base

  1. 1

    Chop Lettuce

Wash and dry the romaine lettuce. Chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare Tomatoes

Wash the tomatoes. Cut them into wedges or cubes and add them to the bowl with the lettuce.

Grill Vegetables

  1. 3

    Prep Peppers and Onions

Wash the bell peppers and onion. Slice the bell peppers into strips and the onion into thin slices.

  2. 4

    Heat Olive Oil

In a grill pan or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  3. 5

    Grill Vegetables

Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the pan. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Once the grilled vegetables are done, add them to the bowl with the lettuce and tomatoes.

  2. 7

    Add Cheese and Sauce

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top of the salad and drizzle the spicy Aztec sauce evenly over the salad.

  3. 8

    Toss the Salad

Gently toss the salad to combine all ingredients thoroughly before serving.
