Coffee Base

Method

Preparing the Coffee

  1. 1

    Brew Coffee

Brew 6 ounces of your favorite coffee using a coffee maker or French press. Use a medium grind coffee for optimal flavor.

  2. 2

    Mix Whiskey and Sugar

In a heatproof glass or mug, combine 1.5 oz of Jameson Irish Whiskey with 1 tablespoon of turbinado sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

  3. 3

    Combine with Coffee

Pour the brewed coffee into the glass or mug with the whiskey and sugar mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Making the Whipped Cream

  1. 4

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until soft peaks form.

  2. 5

    Add Sugar and Vanilla

Add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and 0.5 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the whipped cream. Continue to beat on high speed until stiff peaks form.

Finishing Touch

  1. 6

    Top with Whipped Cream

Spoon a generous dollop of the house-made whipped cream on top of the Irish coffee. Optionally, you can sprinkle a little extra turbinado sugar on top for added sweetness.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your Ped's Irish Coffee warm!
