Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all ingredients including house pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and marbled rye bread.

Toast the Bread
Lightly toast the marbled rye bread slices in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown. This will help keep the sandwich from becoming soggy.
Assemble the Sandwich

Layer the Ingredients
On one slice of toasted marbled rye bread, layer 4 oz of house pastrami, followed by 1/2 cup of sauerkraut. Place 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the sauerkraut.

Add Dressing and Top Bread
Spread 1/4 cup of Thousand Island dressing on another slice of toasted marbled rye bread. Place this slice dressing-side down on top of the sandwich.
Grill the Sandwich

Slice and Serve
Once grilled, remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot with extra Thousand Island dressing on the side for dipping.
