Method

For the Jalapeño Infused Tequila

1

Prepare the Jalapeño Infused Tequila

Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds for a milder infusion. Place the jalapeño halves in a clean glass jar and pour the tequila over the peppers. Seal the jar tightly and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours, shaking occasionally. Taste the infusion; if more heat is desired, let it infuse longer.

For the Cocktail

2

Prepare the Glass

Take a cocktail glass and moisten the rim with a lime wedge. Dip the rim into Tajin seasoning to coat it evenly.

3

Mix the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, combine 60 ml of the jalapeño infused tequila, 30 ml of agave nectar, 30 ml of fresh lime juice, and 15 ml of mango purée. Add ice cubes and shake well until chilled.

4

Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass over fresh ice if desired. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
