Method

Preparing the Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

In a bowl, combine the Angus beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Shape the seasoned beef into a 7oz patty, making a slight indentation in the center to help it cook evenly.

Cooking the Patty

  1. 3

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip it.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

While the patty is cooking, slice the brioche bun in half and toast it lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Spread the chipotle aioli on both halves of the toasted bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheddar on the bottom half. Top with jalapenos and cherry peppers.

  3. 7

    Complete the Burger

Cover with the top half of the bun and press down gently to secure the toppings.
