Crust Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Crust Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

Form the Crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer.

Bake the Crust
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
Filling Preparation

Beat Cream Cheese
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Add Sugar and Sour Cream
Gradually add 1 cup of granulated sugar and continue to beat until well combined. Then add the sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

Add Eggs
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just combined.

Incorporate Flour
Sift in the all-purpose flour and mix on low speed until just incorporated.

Pour Filling into Crust
Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.

Bake the Cheesecake
Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let it cool in the oven for an hour.

Cool and Chill
Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
