French Toast

Chantilly Cream

Method

Prepare French Toast

  1. 1

    Mix the Egg Mixture

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.

  2. 2

    Soak the Bread

Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Let them soak for a few seconds.

  3. 3

    Cook the French Toast

In a large skillet or griddle, melt the butter over medium heat. Place the soaked bread slices on the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Prepare Mixed Berries

  1. 4

    Combine the Berries

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Add the chopped mint leaves and Grand Marnier, tossing gently to combine.

Make Chantilly Cream

  1. 5

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, pour the heavy cream and add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream until soft peaks form.

Assemble the Dish

  1. 6

    Plate the French Toast

Arrange the cooked French toast slices on serving plates.

  2. 7

    Top with Berries

Spoon the mixed berries over the French toast slices.

  3. 8

    Add Chantilly Cream

Dollop the whipped Chantilly cream on top of the berries.
