Prepare the Cake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan with olive oil and line the bottom with parchment paper.

Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, granulated sugar, eggs, orange zest, and orange juice until well combined.

Combine the Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Add Marmalade
Fold in the orange marmalade until evenly distributed.

Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Top the Cake with Meringue
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spread the meringue over the top and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the meringue is golden and crispy.
