Pork Belly Skewers
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Pork Belly
Cut the pork belly into 2-inch cubes. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and pepper. Add the pork belly cubes to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Assemble the Skewers
Once marinated, thread the pork belly cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- 3
Grill the Skewers
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and caramelized on the outside.
- 4
Prepare the Garnish
While the skewers are grilling, finely chop the chives. Once skewers are done, remove them from the grill and sprinkle with black sesame seeds and chopped chives.
- 5
Serve
Serve the skewers hot with a side of Yuzu Kosho for dipping.
