Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
- 2
Toss with Olive Oil
In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- 3
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and caramelized, flipping halfway through.
- 4
Make the Harissa Maple Glaze
In a small bowl, mix together harissa paste, maple syrup, and Aleppo pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with the harissa maple glaze. Toss to coat. Add chopped dates and Marcona almonds, and serve warm.
