Bread Pudding

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the French bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Make the Custard

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and Whistle Pig Maple Syrup until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes and gently fold in the blueberries. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the custard.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Baking Dish

Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the soaked bread mixture into it, spreading it evenly.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.

  6. 6

    Serve

Let the bread pudding cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
