Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill to high heat.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub each steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips to resemble fries. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer the fries to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil and sprinkle with sea salt.

Garlic Butter Preparation

  1. 7

    Make the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in fresh parsley and lemon juice, and remove from heat.
