Method
Chicken Fingers Preparation
- 1
Prepare Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide.
- 2
- 3
Bread Chicken Strips
Dredge each chicken strip in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with bread crumbs. Ensure each strip is fully coated.
- 4
Heat Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry Chicken Fingers
Carefully place the breaded chicken strips in the hot oil, frying them in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Fries Preparation
- 6
Prepare Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips or wedges.
- 7
Soak Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch.
- 8
Heat Oil for Fries
In a separate large frying pan or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 9
Fry Potatoes
Carefully place the soaked potatoes in the hot oil, frying in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.
