Begin by preparing your glass. Take a lime wedge and run it along the rim of a chilled cocktail glass. Dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it evenly; set aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the prickly pear syrup, Vida mezcal, and fresh lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
