Method
Preparation of Salad Base

Prepare Mixed Greens
Wash and dry the mixed greens thoroughly. Place them in a large salad bowl.

Prepare Avocado
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out with a spoon. Cut the avocado into cubes and add to the salad bowl.

Add Shredded Carrots
Sprinkle the shredded carrots over the mixed greens and avocado in the salad bowl.
Cooking Ahi Tuna

Season the Ahi Tuna
Rub each side of the Ahi tuna steaks with sesame oil, soy sauce, and black pepper.

Sear the Ahi Tuna
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned tuna steaks and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or longer if desired. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute.
Making Wasabi Aioli

Combine Aioli Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, wasabi paste, lemon juice, and minced garlic until smooth and well combined.
Preparing Wontons

Fry the Wontons
In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Carefully add wonton wrappers, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assembly

Slice and Add Ahi Tuna
Slice the seared Ahi tuna steaks thinly and place them on top of the salad.

Drizzle with Wasabi Aioli
Drizzle the wasabi aioli over the salad and tuna.

Garnish with Wontons
Top the salad with the crispy wontons for added texture.
